A few weeks ago we were kindly gifted a package from Freshly Cosmetics from their new Freshly KIDS range. It contained 4 products which we have been putting to the test over the last few weeks to be able to give an honest review.
The products 100% natural and free from sulphates, silicones, parabens, phenoxyethanol and synthetic perfumes and aimed to protect the skin of newborns up to the age of 3. Mila suffers from eczema so we only started with a small amount of the products on her first to see how her skin would react. There wasn’t a bad reaction to them so we gradually incorporated the products into our daily routine.

Smiley kiwi smooth shampoo
When I first used this product I wasn't too sure about it as it came out like a moisturiser, quite thick and white, and as I was massaging it into Mila's hair it felt quite heavy. I washed it out and was convinced that once I got her out the bath and dried her hair it would be greasy and I'd have to wash it again. Guess what? No rewash here. Mila's hair was soft and silky and smelt like Kiwi's and reminded me of that fresh smell she had when she was a baby.

Funny Aloe Nourishing Gel
I've been using this nourishing gel to clean Mila in the bath and again, the texture is quite thick but it foams up lovely and hasn't flared Mila's eczema up like other shower gels tend to do. It also leaves her skin noticabely softer as well which I was really impressed about.

Sweet Apple Body Cream
Now this product is my favourite out of them all! The Apple scent is detectable as soon as you pump the cream out and I've been using this after every bathtime and before bedtime all over Mila's body. It absorbs really quickly so there's no waiting around to get her dressed. It would be an ideal product to use for baby massages as well.

Avocado Diaper Cream
As Mila is potty trained now we've not used this one as much. Mila still wears a nappy to bed and when I remember I have put this on her just to give her a bit of protection during the night. The texture is thick and you can definitely see that it forms a protective barrier but I can't give a complete full review on this as it's not something we have been using each and every day.
We’ve enjoyed using these products and it’s been amazing to find products that don’t irritate Mila’s skin. All four items can be bought as a bundle for £46 and would make a perfect gift for someone who’s about to have or just had a baby. All prices on the website are in Euros, however postage to the UK is only £4.20 and orders over 30€ are free! Products are also available to buy separately.
