It’s been a few months since I did a GlossyBox unboxing and April’s box was too good not to share! I had all the spring feels with this month’s box, there were two different boxes this month, Fruity or Floral. I received Fruity and the packaging was the cutest! I wish I could display some of the boxes round the house somewhere, I just love them when they’re themed. So here we go, April’s GlossyBox unboxed.
Jeanne Arthes You’re One in a Melon Eau De Parfum, RRP £20.99
The smell just screams Spring. It’s not a scent I would usually go for as it’s quite sweet and fruity, but I’m not hating the smell. It’s a mix of tangerine, blackcurrant and passion fruit with a hint of apple, peach and raspberry and the bottle design matches the Fruity themed GlossyBox.
Hairflick Hair Vitamins (Travel Pack, 1 week), RRP £4.99 (Full Size, 1 month – £19.99)
These Blue Raspberry gummie vitamins are meant to support healthy hair growth as well as improving your skin and nails. A weeks worth were included in this month’s box, I’m not sure if they’ve worked for me yet, but they do taste delicious and you can eat two of them a day!
Dr. Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask (Deluxe Mini 30ml), RRP £14
(Full Size, 50ml – £19)
This Dr Botanicals sleep mask is amazing! You apply a thin layer in the evening and leave on overnight and wash and cleanse off in the morning. My skin definitely feels and looks brighter. It’s recommended that you use it 2-3 times a week and it’s no extra hassle like using a face mask as I’ve just incorporated it into my usual routine of moisturising before bed. Smells good too!
Dr. PawPaw Hot Pink Balm, RRP £6.95
Now, I am never one to turn down a lip balm, I have loads of them and I love testing out new ones as long as they keep my lips soft and hydrated. This one definitely does and also has a tint of pink to give your lips a hint of colour. You can also add a bit to your cheeks to get that rosy cheeked look. This has become my new handbag necessity.
Original Source Apple & Melon Shower Gel, RRP £2.30
Can’t go wrong with a shower gel and Original Source just happens to be my favourite! My go to one is the lemon one but I think this one is close to replacing it. Again, with the Fruity theme, it smells bloody amazing and it’s infused with vitamins to hydrate and detox your skin. It’s paraben free and vegan so it’s a win win!
Palmers Natural Fusions Chia Seed & Argan Oil Hair Mask (Deluxe Mini 30g), RRP £1.99 (Full Size, 60g – £2.99)
This was added as an extra treat in this month’s box and you can never have too many hair masks. I always love how my hair looks and feels after a treatment. I didn’t even know Palmers did hair masks. I like to mix and match different brands when buying hair masks, so Palmers has now been added to the list!
There you have it for April’s box, full of essentials and over £50 worth of products for less than £14 a month. You’re not tied to a contract with GlossyBox and don’t have to subscribe for a certain amount of months which I think is great! However, GlossyBox have recently launched a 12 month subscription, which works out at £11.25 a month and that includes postage. I have obviously signed up for the 12 months because I am obsessed with this company and still stand by the fact that I have not had a bad box! If you’ve still not made your mind up on joining GlossyBox then be sure to subscribe to my blog as I will be posting in this series each month and giving you an insight into what you could be receiving each month.
If you’re not undecided and getting 20% off your first box, then click here to sign up! May’s box will include either a Chisel Cheeks Contour Cream Kit or a Cosmic Lights Highlighter Palette, both by Barry M.
