Hollywood Browzer | Review

I love discovering new beauty tools and although brow shapers have been around for a while, I had never tried one and quite frankly wasn’t too sure on them. I always thought that if I used one once then my eyebrows would grow back quicker and thicker so when Hollywood Browzer contacted me to test one out it made me curious to see what they were all about. After spending an hour or so googling ‘will my eyebrows grow back looking like slugs’ and ‘what are the odds of me sneezing and accidentally removing my whole eyebrow’, I finally felt confident enough to order one and try it out.

I ordered a pink one (obvs), and it arrived pretty quickly. It came with a leaflet showing before and after pics and instructions on how to use it. The Hollywood Browzer doesn’t just have to be used on eyebrows either, it can be used for an array of different areas such as;

  • Upper Lip Hair
  • Chin Hair
  • Sideburns
  • Bikini Line
  • Back of Neck
  • Stray Hairs / Uneven Hairline
  • Stomach
  • Hair on Fingers and Toes

Luckily I had neglected my eyebrows recently so they were perfectly overgrown to test the Browzer out. Holding it at a 45 degree angle and gently going over the unwanted hair, it came off almost instantly. I was able to position the Browzer perfectly in line with my eyebrows giving them shape at the same time. I usually pluck my eyebrows and always end up with uneven brows and that one unfortunate time when I over-plucked them so much I may as well of not even had any! It took literally no time at all to do one eyebrow, and the shape was spot on. I did have to use the tweezers to get a couple of stray hairs the Browzer missed but other than that I was impressed and what was even more impressive was that I still had an eyebrow.

Feeling pretty confident I filmed myself doing the second eyebrow which you can watch at the bottom of this post. I also did my upper lip which after two and a bit weeks still feels smooth. The one thing I was worried about was the hairs growing back thicker which is why I waited a few weeks before writing up a full review as wanted to be completely honest about this tool so wanted to see what the regrowth would be like. I can confirm that they didn’t grow back thick and black like I was scared of, they were just the same as when I got rid of them. I did notice they grew back quicker than usual but it’s to be expected as when plucking your eyebrows you are pulling the hair straight from the root whereas the Browzer isn’t removing them that far down. It didn’t bother me that they grew back quicker, I reshaped them at the weekend just before I went out and took a total of 2 minutes, if that, and I wasn’t left with a red rash mark like I get from plucking.

It’s now a part of my beauty must have list and with three kids running about, I’m always game for a product that’s going to save me time. Not only that, I actually much prefer my eyebrow shape now as well.

You can purchase the Hollywood Browzer direct from their website www.hollywoodbrowzer.com and costs £7.95 for one or you can get a pack of two for £14.95, there’s lots of colours to choose from as well which is always a bonus.

I would love to hear your thoughts if you’ve used this before or something similar. Let me know in the comments below.

    I really should get back into the habit of taking time to look after myself, I seem to end up forgetting until it’s dark and making a bad job!!
